Triple Fatality in Montgomery County Car Crash

On a Thursday morning in Montgomery County, three people were going about their daily business on State Route 47. Sadly, these three individuals never made it home.
The tragic fatalities occurred on January 20, 2011 at 9:51 a.m. on SR 47 just north of Waveland, near the Montgomery-Parke County Line.
Police records indicate that a semi tractor-trailer, driven by Shane J. Jones, 38, of Waveland, was moving northbound on State Road 47. A southbound car, driven by Anthony Suggs, 25, of Ruskin, Florida, allegedly lost control. The car then entered the northbound lane in the path of the truck, and the two collided.
Montgomery County Coroner David Hunt pronounced driver Suggs and two passengers, Logan R. Mills, 21, of Suwanee, Georgia and Amanda S. Mills, 25, of Buford, Georgia, dead at the scene of the accident.
Police say that although the roadway was snow-covered at the time of the crash, chemical testing will still be performed on the drivers of both vehicles.
