Maryland State Police are still looking for information regarding a fatal Frederick County car accident that occurred on November 19th.

According to police reports, 30-year-old Stephen Alan Wisner was driving north on Route 194 around 3 p.m. when he suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic near Crum Road.

His maroon Pontiac Bonneville sideswiped a Chevrolet Impala and then collided head-on with a Ford Explorer, both heading south.

Wisner, of Walkersville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Impala, 46-year-old John Early, was taken to Meritus Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, as was an infant riding in the Explorer.

The driver of the Explorer, 55-year-old Pamela Dronesburg, and 19-year-old passenger Kimberly Dronesburg were rushed by air to a shock trauma center in Baltimore. Both are in stable condition.

Police closed the highway for four hours to conduct an investigation.

It is unknown why Wisner swerved into oncoming traffic. Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to call the Maryland State Police at 301-600-6168.

The Maryland injury lawyers at Nickelsporn & Lundin offer our condolences to the family of Stephen Alan Wisner and wish a full recovery to all who were injured.
