According to the Prince George's County Fire and local Emergency Response Units, two men died while another was seriously injured after an early morning car accident in Laurel on Sunday, December 26, 2010.

The two men who were killed have been identified as a 67-year-old father and his 38-year-old son, named Jae B. Ro and Young H. Ro, respectively. The Washington Post reports that the accident happened along a stretch of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway early in the morning.

According to Park Police statements, the two men were traveling in the southbound lanes of the parkway north of Route 197 when their vehicle crossed the median and struck two vehicles traveling in the northbound lanes shortly after 1 a.m.

When emergency units and fire trucks arrived, they discovered three vehicles involved in the accident, two of which were lying over the embankment.  

Jae B. Ro and Young H. Ro were both pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The third victim with severe injuries was airlifted to a Laurel area hospital.
