Three men died in three separate motorcycle accidents in the same week. Details of each Maryland motorcycle wreck are as follows:

Terrence Daryl Boston, age 49 and a resident of Brandywine, died Sunday, August 25 when a car failed to yield the right of way to his motorcycle, according to Prince George’s County police. Boston was traveling southbound on Old Branch Avenue in Temple Hills when a northbound vehicle attempting to turn left onto Allentown Way turned directly in front of him. Boston was unable to avoid the crash and ran directly into the car. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Boston was a firefighter in the D.C. area.

Christopher R. Stabile, age 37 and a resident of Olney, also died on August 25 in a motorcycle accident. Frederick County police say that Stabile was riding along Route 550 near Sabillasville around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday when he failed to navigate a curve in the road. He and his female passenger were both thrown from the bike. Stabile was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and the female passenger was taken to Meritus Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

Richard Mark Sampson, age 44 and a resident of Montgomery Village, died Friday, August 30 after attempting a trick on his motorcycle. Sampson was apparently performing a “wheelie” around 5 p.m. when he lost control of the bike and crashed into his own home. Sampson and the motorcycle crashed through a window into the house, and Sampson was found pinned underneath the bike. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

We express our sympathies to the family and friends of these three men.
